Professional Excellence
Dr. Moore earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from the University of Notre Dame before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at Ohio State University College of Optometry. Her commitment to clinical excellence led her to pursue a competitive residency at the West Haven Veterans Affairs Hospital, where she gained extensive experience across multiple subspecialties including retina, glaucoma, cornea, uveitis, and neuro-ophthalmology through rotations at Yale Ophthalmology. She holds board certification in advanced medical optometry from the American College of Medical Optometry and maintains active memberships in prestigious organizations including the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, the Connecticut Association of Optometrists, and Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. Her exceptional dedication to the profession earned her recognition as Modern Optometry's "One to Watch" in October 2023.
I chose optometry because I wanted a career where I could combine clinical excellence with genuine human connection. There's nothing more fulfilling than knowing that the care I provide today helps my patients maintain their independence, pursue their passions, and see the faces of the people they love for years to come.
